CCTV (closed circuit television) camera systems provide a cost effective solution for security of customers, staff, property, theft prevention and supporting in Health & Safety initiatives. CCTV systems can act as a key crime prevention tool, decreasing the prevalence of vandalism and theft and ensuring that you feel much safer and more secure within your property. Here at IPH Electrical Ltd, we specialise in a host of surveillance equipment and security camera systems, supplying and installing CCTV systems to the highest possible standards.
Whether you own or manage a commercial building and need a complex system to protect your building and its contents, or would just like a simple CCTV installation at a domestic property to increase your safety, we can tailor a system that’s perfect for your needs.
Which system is right for you?
Systems start with just one camera, which can give a colour or black & white (at night) picture. PIR (movement activated) cameras can be set to automatically change the channel on your TV to show the camera picture. The PIR movement sensor detects warm moving objects up to a 50 metre range. (Each camera varies)
Digital Video Image Recorder
This facility can be added as an option and, once programmed, can automatically start recording the camera picture on your NVR or DVR recorder when movement is detected by the PIR sensor on the camera. The DVR also has a time & date stamp, which adds a digital display of the time and date activation took place. Footage can be stored to fit your requirements.
As these systems can have as many cameras as required, they are perfect for monitoring the front and back of your property, for larger properties or small commercial premises. All the cameras simply plug into a TV/DVR unit or 5 channel Switcher Unit and this allows you to control which picture you see on your TV. For example, you can have the picture set to just one camera (say your front door) or you can set the switching unit to automatically scan through each Wireless camera in turn at selectable intervals. Either way, if one of the cameras PIRs detects movement, the picture will jump to the appropriate camera. The DVR allows you to record one channel at a time on the selected camera.
From standard 4 camera domestic systems linked to your phone and icloud up to a full multi camera PoE (Power over Ethernet) system servicing multiple buildings, and using products such as Genie and Hikvision, we are sure we can match your needs.
